Much better coverage drill there from Chad Muma than the first run-through. He was a top 3 LB for me before combine. Stud against the run an excels in coverage.

Awesome coverage drill there from Nephi Sewell. Think the genetics are pretty good in that family.

There’s the explosiveness that’s clear to see on film from Tindall… 42-inch vertical and 10-9 broad jump
Pinned
Watching Tindall’s career at Georgia was bizarre. Always flashed. But barely played because of all the talent around him. Georgia will probably have three LBs picked inside the top 100 in this draft class. Could even be Top 75. Bananas.

Interesting graphic with Devin Lloyd next to Fred Warner and Darius Leonard. Shows that the slower time may not be of a major worry for him. Although I don’t believe he covers as well as Warner or Leonard did in college.

Drake Jackson is arguably the most fascinating under-the-radar rusher in this class. Was listed at like 240 at USC, looked super-spindly on tape but incredibly bend with insane burst off the snap. There was a report he was up to 270. Was 254 today. Very smooth athlete with big-time upside. Long arms too.

Troy Andersen making himself some money tonight. Burned up the 40-yard dash and looking smooth early in these on-field drills.

Brian Asamoah putting on a clinic in the lateral movement drill. Checks out on tape.

OK, Devin Lloyd plays faster than 4.71 and Channing Tindall plays faster than mid 4.50s.

Why did Myjai Sanders run if he wasn’t feeling well?

Jermaine Johnson’s barber/hairstylist gets a first-round grade for me

Brian Asamoah… big disappointment for me. He looked like a 4.40-something guy to me but looks like will be somewhere in the 4.60s officially. Flies on the field.
Pinned
My guy Quay Walker running a 4.59 at 241.
Pinned
Lloyd looks like a rocket on the film, but even if he’s officially in the high 4.60s, that’ll send a lot of people back to the film on him, and could ultimately sink him to the back portions of Round 1

Totally missed this… Devin Lloyd at 4.71 is no bueno

Another one of those EDGEs working with the LBs.

4.57 for Mafe. Top 60 prospect for me based on 2020 film and he’s only gotten better.
Pinned
Mafe is a dude — ascending rusher and now we know he’s a sub 4.60 guy at his weight

Do we know why Jermaine Johnson didn’t just workout with the DLs? I mean, this happens with a few prospects every year, but it’s still weird.
Pinned
Florida State EDGE Jermaine Johnson II has done as much for himself since the season has ended as any prospect in the draft. 4.58u 40 just now.

I did not see a 4.57 from Chenal coming… looks like a thick, throwback linebacker on film

Leo Chenal runs a 4.57 40-yard dash. I’m expecting Channing Tindall and Quay Walker to run fast.

4.41

Oh, no. Troy Andersen. We are going to start with a bang.

I’m not as convinced as you, Traps. With his athletic profile, I wouldn’t be surprised if we were looking back in three years saying Walker is the best edge rusher to come out of this class.
Pinned
Could Walker land in front of one of them? I guess. But he shouldn’t.

I’m seeing some “are we sure should Travon Walker won’t go ahead of Aidan Hutchinson and/or Kayvon Thibodeaux?” amazing workout but… I’m not on that train at all
