Attention Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members! It is now official that the Magic Mobile Pass will act as the new Digital DVC Membership Card. This means that the old physical cards are a thing of the past, and new digital cards are a thing of the present. Members can access their Membership Card via the My Disney Experience app (using the Disney MagicMobile feature in the app). The old blue physical cards expired on Dec. 31, 2021.
Here are some top key things to know about the new digital pass:
- As of Nov. 2, 2021, physical cards were no longer mailed out, and DVC Members could no longer order one. If you are unsure how to access your digital pass, click here.
- All Members may continue to identify themselves and take full advantage of current Membership Extras offerings if eligible. They can do so by providing their digital Membership Card along with their corresponding, valid government-issued photo ID.
- Members can add the digital card to their Apple or Google wallet for easy access.
- There are Member affiliations on the back of the cards. The affiliations include DVC Y and DVC ND (No Discount/Non-Disney). DVC Y indicates that the Member is eligible for Membership Extras offerings. DVC ND means the Member is ineligible for Membership Extras offerings.
- Membership Cards are only available to select Member types. According to the DVC website, these include:
- Primary Purchaser—named on the deed of the real estate interest
- Additional Purchaser—also named on the deed of the real estate interest
- Officer—a person who has been authorized to execute the purchase documentation on behalf of a corporation, LLC, or partnership that owns the real estate interest
- Affiliate—a person named by the Officer who is authorized to make reservations using the Corporate Member’s Home Resort Vacation Points
- The DVC Membership Card allows Members with eligible ownership interests to access Membership Extras. These extras include special offers, savings, events, discounts on merchandise, and more!
The following Member types can download a digital Membership Card:
- Primary Purchaser—named on the deed of the real estate interest
- Additional Purchaser—also named on the deed of the real estate interest
- Officer—a person who has been authorized to execute the purchase documentation on behalf of a corporation, LLC, or partnership that owns the real estate interest
- Affiliate—a person named by the Officer who is authorized to make reservations using the Corporate Member’s Home Resort Vacation Points
