Like most of the rest of the world, Italian Serie A soccer will be heavily impacted by COVID-19 as it returns from a two-week holiday break. Two of Italy’s biggest clubs will be missing several key players as Juventus hosts Napoli on Thursday. Positive tests for COVID-19 will sideline big names like Arthur, Giorgio Chiellini, Victor Osimhen and Hirving Lozano, while several others will be out because of injuries and the Africa Cup of Nations. However, Napoli flew into Turin on Wednesday night and the game is currently expected to be played as planned. You can see what happens when you catch all the action live on Paramount+.
The game will be played at Juventus Stadium and kickoff is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET. Juventus is currently the -150 favorite (risk $150 to win $100), while a draw is listed at +280 and Napoli is a +430 underdog in the latest Juventus vs. Napoli odds from Caesars Sportsbook. The over-under is at 2.5 goals. Thursday’s match will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Italian Serie A picks for Napoli vs. Juventus
Before you tune in to Thursday’s match, you need to see the Juventus vs. Napoli picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $37,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.
For Juventus vs. Napoli, Green is backing Juventus to win on the 90-minute money line. Both teams will be shorthanded because of COVID-19, injuries and players away on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, but Napoli is arguably missing the more critical pieces and Juventus is the team in better form.
Napoli will be without Kalidou Koulibaly, Fabian Ruiz, Piotr Zielinski and several other first-team stalwarts, in addition to Osimhen and Lozano. It will also be without manager Luciano Spalletti, whose club lost three of its last four games before the break.
Meanwhile, Juventus is unbeaten in its last five matches with four wins and a draw and will have the advantage of playing at home, where it has won nine of 10 matches against Napoli. There’s plenty of adversity on both sides here but Green sees more to overcome for Napoli and is banking on the team in better form and slightly better health.
