The Texas Legends (18-15) finished strong in the fourth quarter to take down the Salt Lake City Stars (8-23) 103-91 in their final road trip of the regular season.
Salt Lake City got off to a quick 8-0 start before Texas found an answer and the back and forth began. The Stars held the advantage 28-24 after the first and went into halftime up 51-48. The tides turned in the third as Texas came for the lead early.
After nine lead changes, the two found themselves tied up at 69-all heading into the fourth. The Legends sank the Stars in the fourth, shooting at 58%. Led by Justin Jackson, Carlik Jones, and Olin Carter III with 7 points apiece, the visitors had built a double-digit deficit by the three-minute mark and finished perfect from the line in the final seconds to maintain it.
Jones powered the Legends with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jackson added a second double-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Moses Wright also tallied 18 points while Carter tagged on 16. Brandon Fields came off the bench to round out the double-digits with 10 points.
Carsen Edwards led all Salt Lake City scorers with 19 points, 4 assists while Xavier Sneed came off the bench for 17 points, 9 rebounds. Marques Bolden grabbed a double-double for the Stars finishing with 10 points, 11 rebounds.
