Police were looking for the man who held up a Westfield bank on Friday. No injuries were reported in the robbery, which occurred around 3 p.m. at Community Bank on East Main Street. In a news release, the Westfield Police Department said a man entered the branch and handed a teller a “threatening note demanding money.” The teller complied, and the man fled the bank south on Union Street. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black North Face jacket, green pants, black sneakers, white baseball cap and a black face mask. Westfield police released photographs of the suspect involved. Anyone with information is asked to call the Westfield Police Department at 716-326-3375 or by email at [email protected]. Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office assisted Friday.
