MORRISTOWN, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A driver died after crossing over into the eastbound lanes of the U.S. 60, causing a head-on crash north of Morristown Friday morning.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the driver was heading west and crossed over into oncoming traffic around 11 a.m. near milepost 116, which is about 5 miles north of Morristown. The driver crashed into another vehicle head-on and died at the scene. DPS says people in the other vehicle were hurt as well, but didn’t provide additional information.
The Department of Transportation closed westbound lanes for about two hours, but they were reopened around 1:15 p.m. For the latest road conditions, click here.
