Nathan and Sam Drake from Uncharted, a warrior from Elder Scrolls Online, and Sam Bridges from Death Stranding

A bit of a slower day today, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any exciting stories worth sharing. Naughty Dog has stated their desire to return to world of Uncharted, a new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online will be taking players to High Isle, and we were finally given a release date for the PC version Death Stranding Director’s Cut. Let’s get into it.

Naughty Dog Would Like To Return To The World Of Uncharted

The release of Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection is almost upon us, but the game’s development has Naughty Dog has been feeling a little nostalgic. According to an interview with Uncharted: Lost Legacy creative director Shaun Escayg, the studio isn’t taking a new Uncharted off the table, explaining that it’s “a world we want to see more of.” It’s not concrete news that a new Uncharted is in the works, but it wouldn’t be too unsurprising if we see an announcement in the future.

High Isle Zone ESO

Bethesda teased the announcement of a new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online earlier this month, with fans guessing just where in Tamriel they’ll get to explore next. We now know that ESO’s next expansion will be taking players to High Isle, a region that has never been seen before in an Elder Scrolls game. The expansion will drop on June 6 for PC players while console players will need to wait until June 21.

Horizon Forbidden West Goes Gold

Horizon Forbidden West Goes Gold

Good news for those looking forward to Horizon Forbidden West as the game has finally gone gold. This essentially means the game is in a playable state and can now be burned onto discs, but developers still have a busy couple of weeks to iron out kinks and get the game to the best that it can be. While it wasn’t likely in the first place, this news pretty much confirms that the game won’t be delayed again and will make its February 18 release date.

Hyper Scape To Shut Down In April, 18 Months Since Launch

Finally, we have some disappointing news for all three Hyper Scape fans out there as the game will be shut down this April. It’s not too harsh to label Hyper Scape as a failure, especially considering it was supposed to be Ubisoft’s big break into the battle royale genre. Thankfully Ubisoft will be “taking key learnings from this game” and applying them to future products, so hopefully another game won’t be made completely defunct after just 18 months.
